• Wash hands before and after holding the eye or face
• Avoid sharing eye makeup with anyone else and replace eye makeup
     every six months

• Take care of contact lenses properly and do not share contact lens equipment, place or washing liquid
• If you get an eye infection, avoid using eye makeup or wear contact lenses
   until the infection is cured
• Avoid sharing towels, bed linen, cushions or handkerchiefs
• Avoid eye exposure to contaminated water


What treatments are available for Eye Infection?

You should consult with an ophthalmologist to determine the cause of the infection of your eyes and get the best medical advice. Treatment generally involves the use of antibiotic drops or antibiotic eye ointment.
